I have three new colorways for this Christmas season which will debut in the shop update tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30th at 12pm CST.
The first colorway is called "Father Christmas". I was inspired by the beautiful images and colors of vintage Christmas cards featuring the Old World Father Christmas trudging through the snowing woods making his delivers so I used rich colors like navy, cranberry and evergreen with a large handpainted snowy woods stripe. I wanted to give a nod to the original legend of St. Nicolas by including three stripes of gold to represent the three original gifts.
"Seasick Crocodile" is the second new colorway for this season. As you have guessed, it is inspired by the Seuss' Grinch. The whole striping sequence is his face and of course, there is a thin black stripe between each color because he is drawn like that!
The last new colorway is lovingly called "Tangled Lights". My family has a tradition of decorating for Christmas the weekend of the Thanksgiving holiday so when we pulled out the tubs, totes and bags we rediscovered treasures, found a few broken things and lots of tangled lights. It's a holiday tradition!
The shop update tomorrow will have lots of these three colors plus more Apple Picking and Pumpkin Spice Latte so I hope to see you there!
