We are so proud to be a part of Stephanie Lotven's gorgeous new book, Knit Happy with Self Striping Yarn and hope you will do yourself a favor and get a copy.

From the Publisher:

Make the most of your favorite self-striping yarn with 25 bright and brilliant patterns from Stephanie Lotven, of Tellybean Knits. Every skein of self-striping yarn contains a whole palette of exciting colors, so you can create eye-catching rainbow details without needing to keep track of several yarns or weave in all those ends when your project is complete. Stephanie’s spectacular designs go way beyond traditional striped socks, using new and exciting ways to showcase these beautiful yarns in sweaters, hats, cowls and more.

Whether you’re building your knitting skills or looking for fresh inspiration, self striping yarn is truly your secret weapon for knitting garments that shine. The Rainbow Adventure Fingerless Mitts are a quick, satisfying project with big impact and the Indicator Shawl has a chic, geometric design that’s a blast to knit. Statement sweaters like the Sock Arms Cardigan knit up unexpectedly quickly with so many exciting colors to hold your interest. This collection includes a wide range of sizes for adults, as well as adorable variations for kids. Designed to surprise and delight, these unique patterns will brighten up your hand-knit wardrobe and make cheerful gifts for family and friends.

We were so excited to see that the first pattern from the book to be promoted was the Bright Axis Tee which features Must Stash's ever popular Kama colorway of 20 happy stripes paired with Charcoal, a medium grey tonal! Just delightfully fun and happy! Kit's for the Bright Axis Tee were available in early December and will be available again a la carte and mostly as dye to order beginning tomorrow January 19th!

Here is what Stephanie has to say about designing the super cute tee:

There is practically nothing I love more than knitting in stockinette stitch. These days, when I am packing up my project bag for long car rides or the kids’ activities, I don’t reach for socks—I grab a sweater. Stockinette sweaters are knitting heaven, especially when there is a rainbow at the end of the stockinette tunnel. And by tunnel, I obviously mean the body of my sweater. This sweater plays with the traditional drop shoulder construction by turning the yoke on its axis. Flattering vertical stripes stretch from shoulder to shoulder in this casual summer tee. Even though this little sweater has huge impact, there isn’t a single complicated stitch in the entire pattern. Knitting bonus: This tee can be easily customized by using the “Getting the Right Fit” section. Perfect for long color sequences and dramatic color changes, this tee will be the project you want to grab every time you head out the door.

Stephanie designed Bright Axis Tee in an inclusive size range, from XS to 7XL, and even included a "Getting the Right Fit" section to help you modify your size to, well, get the right fit! You will need 32" circular needles in US size 3 & 5 and for most sizes just 2 skeins of Kama and 2 skeins of Charcoal for a budget happy knit that you will want to wear over and over.
