OK, this is wind as in "wind a ball of yarn," not as in "the wind is blowing." Anyway, I think it's worth the money to have my yarn come as two matching cakes so that I can start knitting immediately if I want to. It's not hard to wind them myself, but that means getting out the swift and ball winder and I would rather not bother.
I love this color!!! My socks are coming out perfectly and paying a little extra to have the skein wound into two balls that match make it a dream to knit up!
