Woolgatherer's Walk
Deep in the folds of the Amberwood Vale, where moss grows thick between cobblestones and the air smells of hearth smoke and damp leaves, there’s a winding path known only to those who walk slow enough to notice it. The locals call it Woolgatherer’s Walk — a lane that meanders past ivy-laced cottages, under rusted gates, and through fields still humming with summer’s memory.
The path begins at the edge of a cranberry bog, where the ground blushes red in the autumn light. It winds past teal-shuttered windows, the kind that creak softly when the wind brings a chill. Ferns bow low in the ditches, their edges kissed with mossy brown and rust, and here and there a splash of golden marigold catches the sun — a last spark before winter.
It’s said that those who walk this path are never quite the same when they return. They leave behind their worries in the hedgerows and come back with their hands full of ideas — colors, dreams, and stories. Some bring wool, gathered from the brambles where it snagged on wild sheep, soft and fragrant with earth and wind. Others gather only thoughts, weaving them later into songs, stitches, or quiet cups of tea.
At dusk, when the mist settles and the first chimney smoke curls upward, the Woolgatherer appears — not a person, exactly, but a feeling. The hush between the crows’ caw and the kettle’s whistle. The comfort of knowing there’s light waiting for you at the cottage door.
And if you look closely, you’ll see the path shimmer — cranberry, teal, rust, gold, and moss — each hue whispering of what’s been gathered there: warmth, wonder, and the soft promise of home.

Return Policy:
If you need to make a return, you must do so within 30 days of purchase for store credit/refund. The item must be unused, and in its original state. Any skeins which have been cut are excluded from being returned; this includes if you have added wind service.
Returned goods must be in saleable condition (i.e. not wound either by us or you), in original packaging and unaltered in any way from hank form.
Once I have received your skein back in house and if it is accepted, we will initiate your refund. We cannot refund the shipping cost and so you will receive the full skein cost minus shipping to you and back to us.
